The 2024 conference venue is the Cultural Center former Ursuline school, a breathtaking, historic and certainly unique place. The Cultural Center former Ursuline School is located at the highest point of the medieval castle district known as Kastro and offers spectacular panoramic views onto the Aegean, the Temple of Apollo and surrounding islands, Paros, Mykonos and Syros.
Visible from afar, the newly restored and renovated three-story neoclassic building elicits an aura of science and academia; a milieu befitting to its history as one of Greece’s finest convents for schooling at the time.
The school started to be built in 1739 and was in operation until 1970. Restored in 2009, it reopened as a state-of-the-art cultural center equipped with all necessary facilities and outlets for communications and office administration requirements.
Located in the centre of the Cycladic islands, Naxos is easy to get to from various points, by air and by sea, year round.
